Social media is central to our approach. We’re looking for a social strategist who’s motivated to build engaging social content. You’ll love analytics, and you’ll see social media as “social” and “media.” You’re as excited by making strategies that connect, as you are by being part of a team that makes great content.
You’ll be interested in a broad range of disciplines including demand generation, brand strategy, advertising, digital marketing, research/persona development, but you’re a social marketer first. As a Social Strategist at JMS, you’ll be a key member of our team, helping to amplify all of our clients' marketing activities. We have a variety of high profile clients with large, engaged audiences across the top social media sites.
This role requires partnering with teams across JMS to create content – from production to editing – and think strategically about how to optimize our social strategies for our clients.
As a Social Strategist You Will
Be responsible for implementing and evolving our clients’ social media strategy.
Ensure all social content embodies our clients’ different voices.
Manage social media content calendars that will enable our clients to post to our social media accounts actively to drive high-quality traffic and engagement.
Proactively monitor social media conversations and trends that our clients should be part of to amplify influence.
You’ll be teeming with creative ideas about how we can grow our audience with new tactics and expansion to new platforms.
Partner with our clients to ensure customers looking for help on any social platform are being responded to quickly and effectively.
Assist with measuring success based on predefined KPIs set with clients.
Additional assignments and tasks as needed.
2-3 years of experience in a social media or community management role. Marketing experience in B2B tech ideal
Impeccable writing and editing ability – produce engaging copy even under time pressure
Familiarity with all major social platforms and common tools (especially Sprinklr & Sprout Social, image and video editing software) needed to use them effectively
Ability to get your hands dirty with photography and production assistance
Proven ability to track and report the impact of social media
Passion for technology and marketing, and a genuine curiosity about marketing
Familiarity with paid media and online community management a plus
